Condition:
New

Botanical name: Hericium erinaceus
TCM: Hou Tou Gu

The extraction method used to produce this medicine consists of three separate extractions and then combining them together, which results in a very potent, full spectrum mushroom extract. In the first extraction, the Lion's mane is macerated and soaked in cool spring water to extract water-soluble enzymes, and sugars. The second extraction is in a high proof alcohol to obtain the terpenes, sterols, polypeptides, amino acids, and other non-water-soluble compounds. And the final extraction is simmered in hot water to make a concentrated tea that pulls out the rest of the beta-glucans and polysaccharide-protein complexes.

Ingredients:
Wildcrafted Lion's Mane Mushroom (fruiting body)
Organic Cane Alcohol 30%
Organic Fulvic/humic acid <1%
Spring Water

A splash of raw apple cider vinegar with the mother is added to all of our tinctures during the extraction process to pull out more of the minerals which increases bioavailability.

Suggested use: 1-2ml 2X daily

Product is fine. Packaging and Communication Need Work

Posted by Jared Davis on Jan 28th 2024

The Lion's Mane extract is good. I feel I get something out of it l, which is what you're looking for in supplements. My 2 star review is for packaging and customer communication.

I do have an issue with the 16oz bottle shipping in plastic. The 8oz bottle was glass. I personally don't want an alcohol based tincture sitting in plastic for months while I use it up. Minus 2 stars for this.

I emailed the company at their "info email address" and also left a message via the account message center asking if the 16oz bottles are always plastic or if this was a one off. Never got a reply. Minus 1 star for this.

I have only ordered from here twice but will likely not order again. To be clear both orders were fine. However, if I can't get a response when I ask a product question it makes me doubt how responsive customer service will be if I have an order issue. I also purchase my Chaga extract and Cordycep tincture from another vendor who uses glass bottles and is responsive. I only get the Lion's Mane here for the triple vs. typical double extraction I see.

For me plastic bottle on bulk orders and lack of reply to customer questions is a deal breaker for me. Your mileage may vary....but the product quality is good.

    Lion’s mane tincture

This is my first experience with taking a mushroom tincture . I have autoimmune issues, inflammation and some cognitive decline. I researched this mushroom and wanted to give it a try. I’ve read it takes a minimum of 3 weeks to see a difference, I’m at 10 days. I ‘be had no discomfort, no stomach issues. I chew a vitamin c tablet, which helps absorption, and then swallow tincture. I am more alert and have remembered things I would normally forget. Pricing seems fair. I will continue to use and see if I get more improvement.
