Goldthread (Coptis chinensis) is anti parasitic, antibacterial and antifungal. It stimulates normal digest digestive function and is indicated for atonic and sub acid states. Berberine, a constituent and gold thread is a coloretic shown to triple bio secretion for 1 1/2 hours and is effective against bacteria, yeast and Protozoa. Clinically, berberine has been used to treat giardia, cholera, amebiasis, as well as visceral and cutaneous leishmaniasis.

Wormwood (Artemisia absynthium)  is anti parasitic, carminitive and a colorectic. It is used for parasites, flatulence and atonic states of the stomach and Gallbladder.

Gentian(Gentiana lutea)  stimulates the digestive organs, mucous membranes and portal circulation. it is indicated for atomic and sub acid states. gentian promotes peristalsis and facilitates absorption of nutrients.

Ginger(Zingiber officinalis) is a stomachic, a stringent, pungent and strong carminative that promotes the passage of gas and relieves the pain associated with it. Ginger stimulates the flow of saliva, supports the normal tone of the intestinal musculature and activates peristalsis. It is also anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anti parasitic, anti-spasmodic, and anti-emetic.

Clove(Syzygium aromaticum) is anti parasitic, antibacterial, antifungal and carminative.

Rhubarb(Rheum officinalis) is a stimulating laxative and astringes and tones the intestines.
