Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy 

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery date. Only items that still have the seal intact are eligible for returns. Buyers are responsible for the return shipping cost. Once the item is received in its original condition, a refund will be issued within 7 days minus a 30% restocking fee. If an item is returned with the seal broken, a refund will not be issued. If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return within 7 days of delivery. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Custom orders and products on sale are not eligible for returns . All sales for these items are final, no exceptions.

We charge this restocking fee because of the amount of time it takes to prepare your order, seal the product we place your herbs in with the weight/amount of the product you selected, printing of your invoice and product labels. Preparing your order is labor intensive and takes time to process. We do not pre-package our products - they are filled by order. 

 Cancellations Policy

Cancellations are not accepted but If there is an issue with your payment, shipping address, or the order itself please contact us right away. Please check your order carefully before submitting. All orders are final (once you place your order you will be unable to change or cancel that order)

 Shipping Policies

We can ship to virtually any address in the world but we only ship internationally through our Etsy shop at this time livingfarms.store Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations such as fresh harvested herbs.

*Please let us know if you need your order right away or by a certain date, we will do our best to accommodate, otherwise your order will be shipped in the order it is received.

~LIVE CULTURES: Ship on Fridays. I am in town Friday’s and can be certain they are handed directly to usps not sitting in a hot/freezing mailbox.

~FRESH HERBS: Ship within the specified time in the listing description. It varies by herb. Please note that fresh herbs are harvested within 24 hours of shipping. I can only harvest so many pounds at one time. If i have a large amount of orders it may take a little longer than expected.

~CAPSULES: Ship within 10 business days. Capsules are all handmade fresh to order and can take longer to process than other items in the shop.

~DRIED HERBS/POWDERS: Ship within 5 business days.

~TINCTURES: Ship within 7 business days. 

~OILS: Ship within 10 business days. All infused oils are made per order. The process we use to produce infused oils takes 2-3 days. If We have a multiple orders to produce it may take a little longer.

 **Large orders over $250 and CUSTOM orders please allow an additional 10 business days to process. If you absolutely need your order right away or by a certain date please let us know.**

Please allow a 5 (business) day grace period for processing orders. Sometimes we get overwhelmed with orders and life and things take longer. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Business days are Mondays-Fridays minus Holidays. If USPS is closed it is not considered a business day.

PLEASE NOTE- Often you will get an email stating that your order has been shipped but if you check the tracking it will say "pre-shipment". This is bc when the shipping label is purchased you will automatically be notified.(please do not send emails or respond to this email as it it just used for shipping notices and will not be received by us)  More often than not we purchase shipping labels and then use them to keep track of orders as we are processing. Processing times are typically still the same regardless of when the shipping label is printed. It can also take 24-48 hrs for the tracking info to update after packages are received by shipping carriers. Once orders are handed off to the carrier, we cannot control processing or transit times of shipping carriers.

Other Policies

If you’re package is returned, we are happy to resend your order, but you will need to pay for the return shipping.

If your order is “arriving late” but is still in transit we have no control over shipping carriers transit time. Once your item is in transit 

If your order says delivered but you haven’t actually received the item, there are a few things you can do... ~Check with neighbors to see if the package was delivered to them accidentally. ~Contact your local post office for help locating the package. Provide them with the tracking number, shipping service name, and your shipping address. ~Wait. Typically packages show up within 48 hours after being marked as delivered but are nowhere to be found. If after you have exhausted all attempts to locate the package with no success please reach out to us right away so we can help file a claim with the shipping carrier.

If the wrong item was accidentally sent, please reach out to us right away and we will send the correct item the following business day. Depending on what the item is we may send a return envelope with paid postage for the wrong item to be returned. Please note we will need picture verification of the wrong item sent before we can ship the correct item.

Living Farms LLC shipping is designated as FOB origin. We are responsible to get the shipment to the shipper. Once the shipping carrier is in possession of the package, our portion of the purchase agreement has been fulfilled and our responsibility for providing you your order has ended. 

If you receive your package and it is damaged, and you would like to make a claim, please notify us, and provide your invoice or at a minimum, your name and order number, and we will assist you in filing the damage claim. You will need to contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide pictures for verification. Please note that if you have opened the the package it will no longer qualify for a return/replacement/refund. Picture verification of the issue, as well as, the seal intact will need to be provided.

If your tracking number shows that your package has not been delivered in a reasonable amount of time, please contact us and we will file a missing package claim to locate your package for you.  

Once the determination of the claim comes in from the USPS, we will then notify you if there will be a refund, reship or if the USPS closes the claim with no further action.   Again, once the package has left our facility and the carrier has taken possession of the package, we are no longer liable or responsible.

 Privacy Policy

We process your personal information to run our business and provide our users with the Services. By acknowledging this policy, you confirm that you have read and understand this policy, including how and why we use your information. If you don’t want us to collect or process your personal information in the ways described in this policy, you shouldn’t use the Services. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies or practices of any of our  third-party websites and apps.

We require all account owners to be at least 18 years of age. Minors under 18 years of age and at least 13 years of age are permitted to use our Services only if they have permission and direct supervision by the owner of the account. Children under age 13 are not permitted to use the Services. You are responsible for any and all account activity conducted by a minor on your account. We do not knowingly “sell,” as that term is defined under applicable law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, the personal information of minors.
